Hazardous chemicals substitution: France proposes a new bill

A proposed bill by EELV aims to create a list of hazardous chemicals for companies to substitute, requiring them to report any listed substances in their products. The list may include SVHCs and resemble ChemSec's SIN list, with potential financial incentives for compliance.

15 SVHC recommended for inclusion in Annex XIV

In 2014, ECHA proposed 15 SVHCs for public consultation, approved by Member States in 2015. Substances not on the Authorisation list will be reconsidered later. These SVHCs pose health and environmental risks, with final inclusion in Annex XIV to be decided by the European Commission.
