THE NOTIFICATION TO POISON CENTRES

1. Defining your obligations
The European declaration of a Unique Formula Identifier (UFI) and its affixing on the labels of new products are mandatory from:

• 01/01/2021 for mixtures for consumers and professionals
• 01/01/2024 for those for industrial use
  

2. Double notification to ensure your compliance
Notification to poisons centres is currently in a transition period. Not all Member States are yet connected to the European platform and local notifications are still necessary. Depending on the targeted countries and the types of mixtures marketed, two notifications are already required.
