Unique Formula Identifier and poison centre notification

With the new harmonised format for poison centre notifications, new requirements in terms of standard information emerged. They are the UFIs, or Unique Formula Identifiers. The UFI, placed on the label, will allow poison centres to easily identify a mixture in case of emergency.

A European harmonised format for poison centre notifications

Since 24th April 2019, ECHA implemented a European harmonised platform for submitting poison centre notifications. New requirements in terms of declaration, labelling and diffusion inside the supply chain will apply for companies.
