European Commission Report on claims

In September 2016, the European Commission published a report on « product claims made based on common criteria in the field of cosmetics ». This report has shown that 90% of claims made by the cosmetics industry were compliant. Nevertheless, it pointed out that some very common used claims were not compliant with either EC 655/2013 on common criteria for claims or EC 1223/2009 on cosmetics.
