The new obligations introduced by this regulation include changes in the cosmetic product safety report, the designation of a Responsible Person, the labelling of nanomaterials and CPNP notification.
Here is a checklist to help you comply with the new Cosmetics Regulation.Have you checked:
- the quantitative and qualitative formula of the cosmetic product?
- the presence of banned substance traces?
- undesirable effects?
- availability of information to the public?
- labelling?
- animal testing and the alternative methods available?
And finally:
- have you appointed a Responsible Person?
- have you notified the cosmetic product via the CPNP?
- have your prepared a PIF(product information file)?
- are you respecting GMP (good manufacturing practices)?
- are your samples and analyses reliable and reproducible?
