11 substances added to REACH annex XIV

11 new substances subject to authorisation

Expected for some time, the official addition of these new substances to REACH Annex XIV increases the number of substances subject to authorisation from 43 to 54.

The 11 new substances which will enter the “Authorisation List” from 27th February 2020, their properties, as well as their latest application dates and sunset dates are as follows:

REACH Annex XIV

Annex XIV of the REACH Regulation lists all the substances which uses are subject to an authorisation in the European Union, as well as their properties, their latest application dates and their sunset dates.

The last update to Annex XIV dates back to June 2017. This time, the update will come into force 20 days after its publication to the EU Official Journal, on 27th February 2020.
