You have access to the toxicology database developed by EcoMundo toxicologists – a continually evolving base of over 4,000 ingredients used in the cosmetics industry – together with their sources and studies: SCCS, ECHA, CHemID, echemportal, HPVSIDS, HERA, CIR, IFRA opinions, etc.
Each ingredient has a toxicological profile for all toxicological endpoints considered to be relevant. One or more studies may be present for a given endpoint, and the user can choose to incorporate them into the Production Information File. The drafted toxicology profiles are used to track any relevant NOAEL/LOAEL.
After you, or, if necessary, our toxicology experts have pre-defined the NOAEL/LOAEL, the Margins of Safety are automatically calculated for each of the end product's ingredients depending on the product category and the application surface and frequency. The NOAEL (28 days), LOAEL or NOAEL selected in units other than mg/kg/j are automatically converted into NOAEL (90 days).
